IMG Sends Employees on Sixth Corporate Service Trip in Partnership with School the World

INDIANAPOLIS (April 3, 2025) – IMG (International Medical Group), an award-winning global insurance benefits and assistance services company, is excited to highlight the success of its 2025 corporate service trip with School the World, a nonprofit organization focused on providing access to quality education in Central America. As part of its sponsorship with School the World, IMG sent five employees on a week-long service trip to Guatemala to help build a new school and perform maintenance on a playground.

"It was incredible to be part of IMG's team for this year's corporate service trip with School the World. My colleagues and I built strong connections with the locals in the Guatemalan community we served and saw firsthand the positive impact of our efforts,” said Zineb Abdelouahab, IMG Assistance Team Leader. “This experience was truly unforgettable and has left a lasting impression on all of us. The service trip participants assisted in mixing and pouring cement for the school’s flooring and sidewalks and helped paint the school and its playground equipment. The finished project was dedicated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration at the end of the week. Additionally, the team connected with the community by playing with students at recess and visiting local homes throughout the week.

IMG selected five employees to go on the trip, which included participants from their US and UK offices, based on applications submitted via written essay or video. Each applicant responded to the following question: “How will this experience help you better understand what it’s like to ‘Be There’ for our clients? How do you plan to apply what you learn from this experience to continue making a difference beyond the corporate service trip?”
